It is the year 1324. The former knight Galceran de Born is worried about his son’s inappropriate behavior in the Court and his dissolute life in the Spanish city of Barcelona. Therefore, Galceran decides to send Jonas a missive with very precise orders, that becomes the boy’s Liber peregrinationis.

Accompanied by a Knight of Christ (the former Knights of Templar), Jonas de Born starts a new life journey: he takes the knight’s oath and becomes a gentleman and champion of ancient Wisdom and Knowledge. As a pilgrim, he travels along the Way of St. James, discovering all of the magic and symbolism that hides all along the road, reflecting at length on the future and performing every single ritual of his initiation.
